WHAT ARE THE USES OF CONCRETE?
Concrete is used for various purposes. They are discussed below.

(3) Reinforced Cement Concrete: -This concrete is used where tension, twist, shear, torsion, or complex type of stress can occur. (4) Pre-Stressed Cement Concrete: -Where complex types of stress tension, pressure, etc. are very high and for general use, very large structures are required, such as bridge girders, large span beams, bridge decks, pressure pipes, This concrete is used in railway slippers, power supply poles etc.
