THE MAIN RAW MATERIAL FOR MAKING CEMENT

 

The primary types of material are:-

  1.  Material made of sand.

  2.  Clay material made of alumina.

  3. Limestone material.

  The raw materials are mainly sand, clay, lime and iron oxide. In the actual cement manufacturing process, the amounts of these components are in a certain proportion. Apart from this some more items are added in the ratio during the said process. These are essential as ingredients but in very small quantities.
